Rise Initiative for Principals & Directors
Set your office up for stronger performance by becoming involved with the Rise Initiative.
Here’s how we’d love to work with you:
Start a conversation about how to thrive
Send a signal and kick off conversations that are more open and honest about success and performance in real estate by sticking up our Kitchen Posters around the office. Each poster raises a different common issue that research shows agents and PMs are feeling, and ties to an aspect of the Real Care app. Post them anywhere your team congregate – and yes, the back of the loo door is a great spot!
Roll out the Real Care app across your office
The Real Care app has been designed specifically to help real estate agents and property managers perform better and thrive both professionally and personally. It’s like having a coach in your pocket.
Make it part of your onboarding and encourage your team to download it and use it regularly to help them deal with stressful situations, build their resilience, manage their finances and get urgent help if needed.
Provide free counselling to your team
Sometimes it can just help to talk to someone independent. But the cost of providing an Employee Assistance Program with a counselling service can be prohibitive as an individual office.
So we invite you to borrow ours. Thanks to Domain, every member of your team can access three x free and completely confidential counselling sessions through the Real Care app.
Team members don’t need to wait until they are in crisis to access the service. It can be used pre-emptively. It can also be used to discuss concerns about a friend, family member or colleague who may be experiencing an issue.
Being able to provide this service can not only save lives and help your people to thrive, but it can also be an important piece of compliance to demonstrate you take mental health issues seriously as an employer.
Improve and challenge your leadership skills
Immerse yourself in the latest and boldest thinking about leadership and success by attending our Rise Leadership events. We host Rise Leadership in April each year with a format that combines the latest in leadership and culture frameworks, networking with the most inspirational leaders in the country and a collaborative format that supports powerful, connected and revelatory conversations. We promise it will change how you think.
Invite a Rise Influencer to your sales training
Our Rise Influencers are real estate professionals with a wealth of experience, willing to share their knowledge at your next sales or property management training session. Invite a Rise Influencer to your team to open up genuine conversations about success, performance and how to thrive in the intense world of real estate. Rise Influencers will share the tools they use to support their wellness and share tips with your team on how to build resilience, manage emotions and improve health and relationships.
Free wellness training and webinars
Book the boardroom, order lunch for your team and enjoy some of the best industry training going - completely free. On the first Wednesday of every month Rise hosts a free lunch time webinar from some of real estate and property managements best coaches. Learn skills and frameworks that will help your understanding of wellness, build your resilience, reflect on life and career goals and define your own ideas around success - and start some great conversations amongst your team. Join the Rise Initiative today!
At Rise, we believe that thriving people create thriving cultures that build thriving real estate businesses.
Regardless of whether you run a small real estate office or a large team, the Rise Initiative has resources to help your team perform better both professionally and personally.
This is now essential because new Work Health & Safety laws in each state, make it mandatory for employers to manage both the physical and the mental health (psychosocial) risks that may arise at work.
In real estate, this means having programs to support your sales agents to manage anxiety and stress about lost listings, and to assist your property management team to deal with aggressive landlords or tenants.
