If life is becoming overwhelming – and it doesn’t matter why – you should never be afraid to seek help.
At The Rise Initiative, we’ve produced the award-winning app, Real Care, to help you work out any thoughts, motivations and moods that seem to be taking an uninvited place in your life.
Real Care has been specifically designed for the real estate industry by health experts.
Part of our offering are three sessions with counsellors from Assure.
All sessions are confidential and free. Just call 1800 808 374, ask for Real Care Employee Assistance and tell them you’ve been referred by Domain.
If you’re not in the headspace for our Real Care app, and need to talk to a colleague or friend, that’s totally fine.
Starting that conversation can be difficult for some people.
The first step is always the hardest. So, here are some opening lines that can get the process under way for you.
Try one of these openers with a friend or colleague:
I’m not OK.

Lately I’ve been feeling...
I’m not coping well at the moment, and I know it’s affecting my work. Can I give you some context?
What I’ve been struggling with recently is…
What would be helpful for me is…
