With Steve’s five-month part-time contract as CEO coming to an end, the chair of the Rise Initiative, Nick West, said Steve would now continue to support the growth of the Rise movement and focus on the further development of the Rise Influencers program.

“Steve’s enthusiasm & commitment to Rise and our industry were immediately evident, particularly in raising the awareness of Rise across Australia and growing the Rise Influencer program” said Nick.

“We are grateful for the energy Steve put into his time as CEO and look forward to continuing our relationship.”

Steve said he had thoroughly enjoyed his time as CEO and had it inspirational to dive deeper into the work of Rise.

“From sharing RISE’s message with Triple M and Domain in North Queensland, to presenting with REIWA in Western Australia, to hitting the road in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and doubling the size of the influencer program - it’s been inspiring to watch this great movement grow.”

Steve said he would continue to work closely with Nick and the Board to help build partnerships and further grow the Influencer program, which provides free presentations on resilience and wellness to real estate teams.

The Rise Initiative is a mental health charity & wellness movement for the real estate and property industry, dedicated to empowering professionals to thrive in all aspects of their lives.
