The Rise Initiative is very excited to announce the addition of three highly respected real estate directors who will be joining the Rise board to expand awareness and the support of the Rise message and its tools.
Chairman of the Rise Initiative, Nick West, said he was delighted to welcome the three highly respected leaders of our industry who add diversity to the board with their invaluable industry experience and expertise along with the greater expansion of our geographical reach across Australia.
The new directors are:
Hayley Van de Ven, Chief Executive Officer of the Limitless Group! Five office from the Inner Eastern Suburbs of Brisbane to the Bayside,
Adrian Knowles, Chief Executive Officer of Harcourts, Australia and Shareholder Harcourts International; and
Hannah Gill, Deputy President of the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) and President of REIACT
All have a reputation for excellence and a clear commitment to the people in our industry and provide a depth of experience that will be invaluable to support the strategies and success of Rise.
“We are delighted to have been able to appoint three true leaders of the real estate industry as our new directors. They will bring additional energy and ideas to heighten the awareness of the work Rise does for our industry,” Nick said.
“As our industry navigates its way through constant change, it’s critical that we raise the bar of awareness and support for our people as they deal with the unique challenges that come with providing accommodation solutions for people and families. Our Real Care app continues to make a huge impact on the professional lives of thousands of agents and property managers across Australia and New Zealand.
”These are exciting opportunities for Rise as we elevate the importance of mental health and wellbeing in the real estate industry.”
Ms Van de Ven has more than 20 years of experience in the property sector. Growing a team of four to 150 in ten years, her agency has been consistently ranked as one of the top RE/MAX offices in Australia along with a number of allied businesses including the offshore outsourcing company VA4U and she was recently named REA’s Most Influential Woman in Property.
Adrian Knowles, as CEO of Harcourts, has overseen the adoption of a “white label” Real Care app inside Harcourts. A long time industry leader, he is a passionate believer in the work of the Rise Initiative and empowering real estate professionals to thrive in all areas of their lives and has seen first hand the positive and empowering impact the app has had on individuals within Harcourts.
Hannah Gill brings more than 18 years of experience in real estate, specialising in property management, business development, leadership and culture. A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and a popular keynote speaker, she was recognised as Telstra Business Woman of the Year (Medium & Large business) for the ACT in 2020.
They join the current Directors, Nick West, of Nelson Alexander (President); David Bowie, of MRI Software (Treasurer); Charlotte Pascoe, of Stockdale & Leggo; Domonic Thompson, of Macquarie Bank; Sadhana Smiles, of Real Estate Industry Partners (REIP); and John Foong (formerly Domain).
